A cheap coating that peels is worse than no coating at all. The secret is not the paint, it is the prep. Builders often leave a curing sealer on new concrete, and if we skip grinding it off, the coating fails fast. We grind the floor down to a clean, rough surface so the coating grabs and holds for years, even through Vineyard's damp, lakeside winters.
