Provo runs its own building department, and a finished basement has to be done to code. We take care of the city paperwork and the safety pieces so your project is legal and built right.
Provo requires a permit to finish a basement or do framing, electrical, or plumbing. We pull it and build to code.
Provo even runs an egress window program. Every basement bedroom we build gets a code egress window and well.
Homes near downtown and BYU are often older. We plan for the surprises that come with old wiring, plumbing, and framing.
Provo has rules for basement apartments and ADUs. We build legal, safe units so landlords stay on the right side of the city.
