Vineyard runs its own building department out of City Hall, and a finished basement has to be done to code, even in a brand new house. We take care of the paperwork and the safety pieces so your project is legal and built right.
Vineyard requires a permit to finish a basement, including framing, electrical, and plumbing. We pull it and build to code.
Every basement bedroom needs a code egress window. Wells over 44 inches tall also need an escape ladder, and we handle all of it.
Most Vineyard basements are unfinished, a blank canvas of concrete and framing. We build the walls, wiring, and plumbing from scratch.
Vineyard requires city licensing for a rental basement unit or ADU. We build legal, permitted units so you stay on the right side of the city.
